Mechanical - Engines: Our mechanical specialists have over 30 years
of broad and progressive experience in senior management in all areas of
automotive product engineering that includes new concepts,
design and development engineering. This experience includes a high
concentration in internal combustion engines of all types, gasoline, diesel,
supercharged and turbocharged, pushrod, overhead cam and two and four valve
designs. We were involved at all stages of the project from concept though
design, development, Mechanical - Transmissions: We have many years of broad and progressive experience in transmission engineering at all levels including senior management. This includes a wide variety of new concept design and development. This experience includes areas, such as gear systems, clutches, bearings, lubrication, torque converters, and cases. A deep understanding of the pros and cons of these design solutions can provide elements that may be now appropriate and can make an optimal solution when combined with the opportunities provided by electronic controls. Electronics: Our electronics specialists have over 20 years hardware experience in switched mode pulse width modulation, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, AC - DC Converters, DC - DC Converters, DC - AC Converters, Battery Chargers (NiCad, lead-acid), and Closed Loop Stability (bode; root locus; nyquist). Software: In addition, software experience in microprocessor assembly languages, high level languages, DSP assembly language - real time control, real time multi-task machine control, and emulators: real time embedded control. We can perform computer modeling on electronic circuits and motors, feedback stability simulations, hybrid and conventional vehicle simulation (small car to bus). Thereafter we can perform system design in multi-processor real time controls, data acquisition systems, distributed power with carrier/current, and in performance optimization. Electric motor engineering: Over 20 years experience in design of all kinds of electric machines – induction, SRM, synchronous, DC, from medium to large power level, in application for industrial, commercial, and transportation. Various shapes of stators and rotors, wide and narrow speed ranges, high efficiency, and high intermittent torque, medium and high frequency, for inverter applications, medium and high voltages, multiphase and multipole, etc. Wide customer range – large companies, military, small companies.
Batteries: We have a broad experience
in lead-acid battery technologies and controls for HEV applications. Patents: We are experts in filing for and obtaining IP protection worldwide. Amongst our team we have an attorney with over five years experience in managing internal company patent mining, patent prosecution worldwide, trademarks, licensing background, and major litigation support.
