- The 1st in Uniterruptible Power Supply industry On-Line UPS was specifically designed for IBM PC, in 1985. The patent describing this technology laid the foundation for all stepwave UPS products on the market.
- The range of On-Line UPS products made by VITEQ Corp. in 1989 set the new standard of performance including power factor correction, dual phase operation, long battery operating life, and ultrahigh reliability. Power range was 750 VA to 3 kVA. All products incorporate numerous patented inventions.
- The range of high performance, high profit UPS for PCs and workstations, in power range 250 - 550 VA. It is the 1st in the industry with total microcomputer control, and the 1st being of high switching frequency and low cost simultaneously. The products are protected by numerous U.S. Patents.
