Research conducted in 1980 on energy content
of electro-chemical reactions of elements in the periodic table lead to the following
conclusions:
- A purely electric vehicle will never be even remotely comparable in utility to gasoline powered vehicles and therefore any development efforts will be futile
- A power assisted type of hybrid-electric drive train is the future of automobile technology
- Al-Fe battery with Oxygen exchange promises to have ten (10) times more energy density than lead-acid battery and be of lower cost per kWh.
- Invention of new manufacturing technology of the lead-acid batteries with high power density is now in a trade secret status and a team is being assembled for its commercialization.
